High flying Eva graduates with PR Diploma
Eva Lambert-Smith, account director at Hallmark Public Relations in Winchester, is one
of the first graduates to complete the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Postgraduate Diploma course.
One of 81 successful candidates, Eva gained a merit score for her Diploma. She was presented with her
Diploma by IPR president Ian Wright in a ceremony at the Royal College of Physicians in London.
Ian Wright said: "In the past year, students have had to juggle their studies with family and work commitments.
As standards are high, the 58% pass rate is a tremendous achievement and Eva has done exceptionally well given the
demands of her course."
For her dissertation, Eva researched the impact of the Internet on public relations practice around the world. Basing
her research upon the 93 member consultancies in the Worldcom PR Group, of which Hallmark PR is a member, she prepared
a report that was presented to a Worldcom conference in Boston recently.
Eva took her degree in Business Studies, with Marketing, at Bournemouth University in 1994 and joined Hallmark PR in 1999.
Eva's Diploma studies were part of her continuing training and development programme at Hallmark PR. Other colleagues
have recently studied consultancy management, presentation and negotiation skills and a language. The consultancy also
has developed its own training programme for graduates.
