Hallmark PR wins EMEA structured cabling account
Leading structured cabling systems manufacturer The Siemon Company, has chosen Winchester's
Hallmark PR to develop its first public relations programme throughout Europe, the Middle East
and Africa (EMEA) after a competitive pitch.
The account, focused on Siemon's world-leading structured cabling technology, aims to raise
awareness of both the company and its cabling solutions throughout the EMEA region.
"Hallmark PR's enthusiasm, creative approach and strategy will create rapid and strong brand
awareness of The Siemon Company across all of the EMEA region. It will differentiate us from
competitors and builds on our R&D strengths," said Siemon's marketing communications manager Nicole Crawford.
Hallmark PR will manage the European programme using fellow members of the Worldcom PR Group -
Yucatan in France, Business Press in Italy and HBI Helga Bailey in Germany - in their respective markets.
Consultancy director Helen Symes said that Worldcom's expertise across Europe had been an important
factor in Siemon's decision to appoint the Winchester-based consultancy.
"We can draw on the expertise of consultancies with specific knowledge of the cable sector in
Paris, Munich and Milan to extend Siemon's campaign in a very consistent manner", Helen said.
"This is an important win for Hallmark PR as it demonstrates our ability to handle a technical
media relations account on a pan-European level."
Director Steve Wilson will lead Hallmark PR's service for Siemon, supported by other consultancy staff.
